It was 5 years after the Fire Nation war. Aang was 18 years old, Katara was 20, Sokka was 21, Suki was 21, Zuko was 23, Mai was 23 and Toph was 18. A lot of things had changed since the war ended. Katara and Aang were boyfriend/girlfriend. Sokka and Suki were married and Mai and Zuko were married. Mai and Zuko did not have any kids yet but Sokka and Suki had one daughter named Layla.
